honestly i feel like the hustle culture in singapore makes it really hard to slow down and sightsee. it still remains a struggle for me at times but because of my partner, i think she’s taught me a lot about just taking in the views and relax while i’m with her 🙂

Sometimes the pace of life can be dizzy there is a lot of pressure to always be doing something most people forget to tale time for themselves. I think life is richer when you are able to pace yourself and grow internally

My life has passed me in the blink of an eye, and I feel like if I had stared at a wall and watched the paint dry, I might have grown a little better. Although failure is quite the teacher, I think the best moments I’ve had to reflect was when I stumbled so hard and fell on my face and wasn’t emotionally composed enough to keep the hustle going.

sometimes the pace of hustle culture makes us forget about how our actions might affect others in this competitive scene. we have to remind ourselves to be compassionate to one another.

im some guy in my late 20s, not sure if its just the society that we re in, it seems like every stage in life has already been planned for you, i could see what is going to happen 50 years down the road and there is no room to really slow down and rest even after retirement, is this really how our lives should be?

no one really feels like every part of their lives is entirely the same. i think it’s worth looking at!! what makes us change ourselves in different places and times with different people…. i think journalling and experimenting with friends might be cool
